"Astronomical Autumn" is a work I created to capture the interconnection between nature and the universe, uniting terrestrial seasonality with cosmic mystery. The silver background represents the infinity of the night sky, a luminous canvas on which stories of stars and seasons are intertwined.
I applied spheres of various colors to symbolize the planets and stars, each with its own energy and meaning. These spheres float like stars in the firmament, evoking the eternal cycle and harmony of the universe.
The woven jute adds a tactile and earthly dimension, representing the roots and bonds that anchor us to the earth. It is a reminder of the texture of life, made up of deep connections and invisible weavings that unite us with the cosmos.
The pine cones scattered on the canvas are symbols of autumn, bearers of seeds and promises of new beginnings. They represent the fertility of the earth and the cycle of life, which continues to renew itself season after season.
